Save the Old Roan Public House

The Old Roan pub plays an integral part in the lives of people from the Old Roan, Aintree and wider areas and in the last three and a half years the landlord Mr Stephen Hughes and his family have transformed a failing pub into a vibrant, fun and friendly community pub with an amazing atmosphere and more importantly, offering us all a safe environment in which to socialize. The pub has championed local musicians and bands, raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities, provided family friendly activities and brought people together both young and old, forging new friendships. We feel that it is grossly unfair that our pub can be taken away from us by the actions of a small minority of idiots and thugs that have ruined all of the hard work and dedication of Mr Hughes, his family and staff and it is for this reason we urge you to work with Mr Hughes in ensuring the Old Roan Pub can continue to provide the community with a focal point to meet and enjoy days and nights out in a fun and friendly environment.
