I was court ordered to have Christmas day with Kelsie this year in North Carolina for the first time in 6 years. I wrote the week on the "court calendar" on OUR FAMILY WIZARD October 16. Yesterday I get a call from my lawyer. My ex doesn't agree with the dates. 

If you get two weeks off from school for Christmas break one would assume week one and week two. Week one includes Christmas day which is what I was court ordered. 

But the ex "has had plans for four months" and Kelsie NEEDS to visit with family members on his side. So they offered me the 27 and 28th. Not even Christmas day or court the ordered dates. We said no of course we want our week in Christmas. We planned for it. We have a flight headed out to leave this morning. My other kids so excited to see Kelsie. Finally play together in person and not through a screen. My youngest child has never met his sister in person. 

My lawyer says my ex didn't agree to the dates and he has the final say since he has the child. The judge says he wasn't clear enough in his wording. That it was too vague. 

End results, he gets what he wants again. I don't get my daughter Christmas day due to the order being vague and my ex gets to disagree with the dates the day before we are to fly out to get Kelsie for Christmas. 

Fair? Justice?

Going on seven years in the making. My daughter has not been able to come back to North Carolina to see any of her family members since he KIDNAPPED HER AND FLED TO MICHIGAN TO LIVE WITH THE FRIEND OF COURTS DAUGHTER May 1, 2014.
