Brothers and Sisters, 

I pray that you are all having a Happy Sabbath.

Remember to rest in the peace of knowing that Jesus paid it all. 

Jesus gave us a command to spread the gospel to all the world.

But how did we Gentiles get the gospel in the first place?

It was after the stoning of Stephen.

Acts 6 and 7 gives us the account of Stephen.

The Scriptures tells us that he was a man of faith,full of the Holy Spirit and worked extensively among the people.

Stephen stood for truth and this excited the displeasure of certain members of the synagogue.

Acts 6:10 tells us " they were not able to resist the wisdom and the power by which he spake"

What did they do?

They stirred up others against him.

Read the account for yourselves.

He spake the truth.

They created the division.

Many today would have said:

• WHY STEPHEN DONT SHUT HIS MOUTH AND FOCUS ON HIS DEACON DUTIES
• HOW DARE HE SPEAK IN THIS WAY TO THE LEADERS.

Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us.
