To help me win back my SIA licence

To help me win back my SIA licence

The Issue

Hi there I'm Jordan Rose a 21 year old man from Wiltshire. Back in February 9th 2017 my life changed for the worse, I was working as a relief retail security officer in Sainsbury's stores location at the time was Trowbridge, and to me it was a regular shift like all others but around 10am I stopped a male who'd concealed 3 bottles of alcohol upon stopping him outside the store I clocked he had sharps in his pocket and because of this he posed a risk to the public himself and me so I chose to recover the goods and let him walk, upon letting him leave I used my store net radio to let others know of the risk. So later on that day on my way to the police station to hand the cctv in I can across the same male in question we contacted the police who stated there was nobody on the way to support and we can detain this male, he then proceeded to steal 2 bottles from Asda and left through the side exit it was at this moment I chose to detain with caution from behind and this moment me and the male lost balance and went to ground and he unfortunately was in a serious condition I won't go into details as I don't feel it's appropriate, I was later arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and bailed the next day but just over a month later I was contacted by an officer on case to say I was not getting charged and the rest was cleared up at the inquest. Recently I appeared on channel 4s program 999 what's your emergency and the reason for this is to get the true events of what happened that day out and stop the horrible rumours, I was hoping to get back on the saddle and get working again at some point this year but the sia want to revoke my security licence and this is the reason for me writing this petition to ask for the support of the public and my ex colleagues to help me appeal this and get my licence back that I worked so hard to get in the first place. I'm just a regular guy who doesn't want to lose something when I feel I don't deserve to so any support you can offer would be really appreciated, thank you.
