Short update (note: I do not work for WDBTAP or DPI).
We are coming in on 1,000 signatures. So close! Please Keep Sharing! Use the hashtags #WDBTAP and #Assistdeafblindkids and #assistDBkids when you share.
Plan A: This petition is being sent out to each Senator and Representative from Wisconsin to show your support for the program before the Sept. 30 deadline.
Plan B: After October 1 (the battle is NOT OVER) This petition will be sent to every member of the state of Wisconsin Senate and Legislature. The intent is that the State of Wisconsin will 1. Sue the Dept. of Ed for release of these funds and/or. 2 provide temporary and/or long-term funding for the program.

P.S. here's a simple text post to help:
WDBTAP helps Deaf Blind kids in Wisconsin live a better life with access to the tools and support they need. The Dept. of Ed. is cutting this program claiming it's DEI policies (which it no longer has) are harming kids. WDBTAP doesn't have a DEI policy and yet it's still in line to be cut. Please sign this action petition to keep the program running. #WDBTAP #Assistdeafblindkids #assistDBkids
