In 2024 Election News, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, successfully defeated Vice-President Kamala Harris, to be elected the 47th President of the United States. This come within the backdrop of the Republican Party gaining control of both the House and Senate.

The election is a historical one, not only in referencing Grover Cleveland, who served as the 22nd president after the 1884 election, and as the 24th president after the campaign of 1892, but also in the candidate himself.

President-Elect Trump is the first convicted felon, twice-impeached, former President to win a Presidential campaign in America's history. 

Vice President Harris conceded the race today and pledged assistance for President-Elect Trump, from the Biden Administration to facilitate the peaceful transfer of power. A slight callback to the January 6th storming of the U.S. Capitol after Trump lost his race against President Joe Biden in 2021. 

Article II, Section I, Clause V of the United States Constitution still stands as "not amended." This is specifically one of two reasons why this petition exists.
