I have just seen a video link of Theresa May, UK Prime Minister, saying "personally I have always been in favour of fox hunting". Because of this and the fact that it can only be assumed that she condones animal cruelty, sadly I do not think this current petition will get anywhere with the UK Government as it stands now. The only way it might be taken notice of is if the Conservative Party do not regain power in the Election on 8th June. It is for this reason that I will be starting a new petition in the next few days, coming at the abolition of the Dog and Cat Meat Trade from a different angle and leaving the current useless UK Government out of it! In the meantime, a million thank you's to everyone who has signed, shared and commented and I hope you will do so again when I put my new petition on here. If you want to continue with this one also, please do so by all means in case (hopefully) we have a new and compassionate prime minister in the UK on 9th June where animal cruelty is concerned!
