UPDATES OF ORGANISATIONS APPROACHED FOR HELP! 1. Unfortunately I have not yet received a reply from Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand when I asked them on 6th April if they have any information about the Yulin Festival in China. I have therefore emailed them again today. I know they are really busy rescuing the animals and also petitioning about the trade, which obviously is more important, but we really do need an update on Yulin as it set to start again on 21st June! It doesn't bear thinking about if this goes ahead again this year because it will mean another 20,000 to 25,000 dogs and cats will yet again go through 10 horrifying days of torture and slaughter! 2. As you will know, the World Veterinary Congress is due to be held in South Korea in August of this year 2017, while portraying themselves as an animal-caring nation! I have today emailed the World Veterinary Association in Belgium who are organising this, asking them to consider holding the function somewhere else unless South Korea end the barbaric Dog and Cat Meat Trade permanently without any further delay. 3. As you will also know, South Korea are hosting the Winter Olympics next year 2018. I have emailed Team GB today, asking them to reconsider about participating in the Games in the light of this barbaric trade. I will post an update when I receive replies to all these emails.
