With Deepest Regret

To everybody who has supported our petition regarding our ex RAF veteran father this weekend (and our difficulties with non-resident burial charges imposed by Fylde Borough Council), thank you. It is with deep regret that we must advise that the lovely Hugh Payne passed away at Hopton Cottage Care Home in Mirfield, at 7pm this evening (Sunday 29th January 2017). Hopton has been amazing at looking after dad, and the whole family would like to thank them for the love and care they have shown him these last 15 months. We only wish Hugh had known the love and support you have all shown him via your comments and support of the petition - he would be so proud and overwhelmed with your sentiments. Thank you. So finally, as this is probably the last time I will get to post a picture of his beautiful smiling face, can I ask that if you haven't shared Hugh's petition with your own friends and family yet, please do so now.
