Hi Everyone,

I think we are ready for a final push to victory - as in getting these signs removed.

The Board of Parks & Recreation Commissioners will hold a meeting on Thursday, 8/11 at which I believe they will hear a Seattle Parks & Recreation (SPR) staff recommendation from Todd Burley, Sustainability Officer at SPR who has taken the lead on this issue. Although they are scheduled to vote on it at the following meeting (in Sept), I'm going to use my public comment to push them to vote on the 11th.  I'll also be presenting them with this petition, the 375 signatories, and 19 additional comments that were made.

If you are able to come to the meeting (virtually or in person), I'll be posting details on the Facebook Page (Wheels Belong at Greenlake)

Now is also a good time to get in one last email pleading our case, to Todd at todd.burley@seattle.gov, Christopher Williams, Acting Superintendent at christopher.williams@seattle.gov, and the Board via PKS_Info@seattle.gov, and cc:Benjamin.burtzos@seattle.gov and paula.hoff@seattle.gov. Write to Paula and Benjamin to request a speaking spot during public comment at the 8/11 meeting.
