Second call for School Board Meeting Speakers - Wednesday August 30

Have you been thinking of speaking at Wednesday's school board meeting but haven't committed to it yet?! This is a great opportunity to take your advocacy to the next level and it is very easy! You speak (or read) for 2 minutes and no one asks you questions. We are looking for 15+ people to testify at Wednesday August 30th's board meeting at 5:30-8:30 to discuss the importance of correct data, infrastructure planning, disappointment in the district so easily passing up free land at Fort Lawton, and the upcoming and current capacity crisis! Annual Approval of Schools) This will be a critical time for us to emphasize the importance of correct data to drive school performance and projections, the lack of capacity planning, the fact that the district did not do due diligence in researching it's options for this land, and that the current answer is not satisfactory.
