Another "error" from the Emergency Alert system, get rid of this!

Emergency Alert "Tests" FULL TIMELINE (Results)
14 Tests. 1 Successful, 13 Failed. (7.1% Success Rate)
Connecticut, USA 2005: Alert for immediate State-wide evacuation, no reason given, reached out to at least 11% of the population, and caused a further 1% to actually leave the state. There was no evacuation, and the message was an "operator error". False alarm. TEST FAILED
Illinois, USA 2007: Huge broadcast "accidentally issued" due to a reciever wrongly being connected to a live system before testing. Dead air followed, then audio from 720 WGN in Chicago was cast on nearly every electronic device in the city. No real threat, TEST FAILED
Oregon, USA 2010: Warnings from NOAA Weather Radio and CSEPP radios activated after 5pm, predicting "Severe Thunderstorms". Instead of a real warning, listeners were met with a long silence, and some words...in Spanish. Officials stress there was NO emergency. False Alarm. TEST FAILED
New York State, USA 2016: TV Transmission alert for Suffolk County, Long Island requesting that citizens immediately evac. Cutting off mid sentence as they were about to announce who sent the alert out. 15 minutes later a new alert is distributed saying only Fire Island (a tiny part of Long Island with a population of 292) needed to leave. The reason was due to Tropical Storm Hermine, but the Code Red system processor mixed the messages. TEST FAILED
New Jersey State, USA 2017: 2 Nuclear Power Plant Warnings were broadcast to Salem and Cumberland County at 8:55pm, mistakenly. NJ State Police say it was just a test meant only for "Emergency Management Personnel". A so-called Coding error caused it to broadcast publicly. TEST FAILED
Guam, USA 2017: 2 Radio stations transmit a Civil Danger warning, Homeland Security interrupted programming and was recieved on radio and TV. DHS claim it's an "Unauthorised Test" by the EAS. Because of North Korea threatening Guam days before, many anxious calls were made to 911 and DHS. TEST FAILED
Hawaii, USA 2018: Warned of an incoming "ICBM strike", no missile struck. False alarm, TEST FAILED
Toronto, CANADA 2020: Alerted millions of people of a Nuclear Power Plant incident. Company says it was broadcast in error. No incident occured. False alarm, TEST FAILED
New Jersey State, USA 2022: A carbon-copy of the 2017 Nuclear Power Plant warnings. The fact that 5 years later they make the same mistake shows they do nothing to prevent them. TEST FAILED
California, USA and Guadaloupe 2022: "Mistakenly Issued" evacuation notice repeatedly saying Eastern North Pacific Ocean or Eastern North Pacific at least 12 times, Sheriff's say it was once again...issued in error. No real threat. False alarm. TEST FAILED
Florida, USA 2023: No explained cause for the emergency alert, which buzzed loud at 4:45am. No situation, false alert, TEST FAILED
London, UK 2023: Signalled all phones at 3pm, categorised as "a simple test", no real reason to execute this, fake alert, TEST COMPLETED
Seoul, SOUTH KOREA 2023: Transmitted to devices along with Air Raid sirens, the message said to "Prepare For Evacuation". Reason was due to the North Korean satellite launch failure. 20 minutes later another alert came claiming it had, just like Toronto, "been sent in error". There was no threat, false alarm. TEST FAILED
Okinawa, JAPAN 2023: An alert was issued due to same North Korean satellite fail. No real threat. False alarm. TEST FAILED
