The Issue
The village of Cove Bay in Aberdeen was built around the harbour. The removal of the boats from the shore will mean that it will be impossible for the local fishermen to continue working. This industry is still very traditional in Cove using handmade creels, boats and nets. If we take the boats out of Cove you take the soul out of our village. This petiton has been started because solicitors letter were issued to each registered boat requesting that the vessels be removed within fourteen days.
