Make our voice heard!! - Join a Thunderclap over the Meadow NOW

Thank you for your signature for the Meadow - every single one is precious and essential!! And if you've taken on the Five Friends Challenge - fantastic!! Post on Facebook how those personal connections have been! Please help us again - this one's short and sweet! People notice when a little voice becomes a BIG noise - and a one-off THUNDERCLAP can make that happen on social media. If you are a Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr user, you can permit THUNDERCLAP (a website) to post a **single** message on your social media at a **single** point in time - for us, that's 10am February 29th, the day before the petition is handed over to the Government. Imagine the social media VOLUME of thousands of our accounts all thundering "Save the Meadow" at exactly the same time, sharing with all our contacts. We expect to see a surge of signatures that evening, just before we hand over the petition to the Scottish Government on 1st March. To do this, go to https://t.co/QpT7ph94Rv and click on the RED links that say "support with FACEBOOK", "support with TWITTER", and "support with TUMBLR". News: - We're at nearly 4000 on-line signatures and have collected at least another 1000 signatures on paper - so we're on track for our 10K target if we all keep spreading the word. - We'll be delivering the petition on 1st March, 12pm, to Ministers in Edinburgh - please join us! - The Scottish Government now have all the documents they need from Glasgow City Council, and so their consideration period officially started on 12th February. They typically set a 28 day period to decide whether to call in an application - so this would be by 11th March for us. - The Five-Friends Challenge (see the update below) brought in a huge number more signatures - who can you connect with PERSONALLY to tell them about the Meadow and to invite the to sign? The Meadow is all about personal contact - who can you talk to directly and share your passion with? - Folk from all over Glasgow, Scotland and the World (e.g. top of Pinnacle Peak in Arizona!) have been sending us pictures with messages of support visible - these are posted on our website. Please do send your own picture to childrenswood@gmail.com.
