We wanted to wish a very Merry Christmas to you and your families. We have been so humbled by your continued support throughout this year and you have made an unbelievable difference to our efforts. You have given us the hope and determination that we can save the magnificent Scottish Wildcat, in the wild where it belongs. Because of your generosity we are already planning to expand our field work activities next year and we have some very exciting developments that we can’t wait to announce in the New year.

It is sometimes daunting to think that we are up against major vested interests and government departments who are destroying valuable wildcat habitat. However all we need to do is look at this petition and see that there are now approaching 900,000 people backing us. It is such a major boost to our spirits.

We launched the ‘adopt a wildcat’ scheme this year as a way of fund raising in what we all know are very hard times. We also wanted to provide a nice gift to not only say thank you, but also to engage and educate people about the wildcat, who we otherwise wouldn’t reach. The way you have embraced and supported this scheme has made all the difference. 

Even this morning, orders for adoption packs have been coming in. So if you are still looking for a special gift for a loved one, then you can still purchase an adoption pack for Christmas. Just visit:

The adoption packs cost a one off payment of £25, equivalent to $33. As you go through the online process you can nominate whose name you want on the gift certificate. The pack can either be delivered to you, so that you can give the gift pack in person, or it can be delivered directly to the intended recipient. The adoption pack contains the following:

1.     A personalised certificate

2.     A wildcat print 

3.     A wildcat pin badge

4.      Information about the Scottish wildcat

5.     The knowledge that you are helping save this beautiful wild animal

We of course know that the packs won’t now be delivered by Christmas Day, but they will likely arrive in the festive period.
