It is fantastic to see all the new supporters joining our campaign recently. We have added around 70,000 signatures in a couple of days which is amazing. The Scottish wildcat needs all the friends it can get so please do keep sharing this page. Let's get this to a million.
We want you all to see a short video that has been made about our project by Andrew Davies at Campaign Film
The short film shows the work Wildcat Haven does to save the Scottish wildcat in the wild, where it belongs. At Wildcat Haven we have developed a comprehensive approach to wildcat conservation that involves the following areas of work:
Community engagement
Neutering domestic cats in the environment to stop hybridisation
Monitoring wild populations
Education programmes for local schools
Habitat creation and improvement
When you add all these elements together you create an effective Wildcat Haven where Scottish wildcats can thrive. The video in the link shows our work on the west coast of Scotland but this template will be applied to the Clashindarroch forest once we have dealt with the urgent issue of the destruction of the forest.
