Hello Everyone. First of all we wanted to say a big thank you to you all for your support and of course to Steve Piper whose efforts have been incredible. He is a true wildcat hero. The backing and public outcry that you have all contributed to has given us the mandate to now move forward with a strategy to convert signatures into actions. This will primarily involve taking legal action to achieve both stopping the destruction of the forest and to establish the forest as a designated reserve for the Scottish wildcat; the first one in Scotland. We are extremely confident that with you help we can do this. 

We will shortly be launching a legal Crowdfunder on the CrowdJustice platform and have been working with the organisers of the site to setup the page. If we can raise the money, we can go through the legal process to achieve our aims. Put it this this way, if everyone gave just £1 imagine what we would achieve. 

Of course there are also many other ways you can help. Share this page, spread the word, direct friends and family to our website www.wildcathaven.com , tell everybody you know that the last significant population of wildcats is at extreme risk. 

We will leave you with this final thought. Earlier this afternoon we got reports from our field work team up in the Clashindarroch Forest that logging is happening right now and is taking pace in an area where we have found wildcats before. It troubles us deeply to think about what has happened to the beautiful wildcats that once lived there and we need to make this stop. With your help we can do this.
