It's International Cat Day apparently, but my personal reason to celebrate today is seeing the petition reach 300,000 signatures!
When I started the petition up I thought it would be pretty amazing to get 10-20k, and currently it's one of the best-supported petitions on the whole Change platform which is just mind blowing. 300,000 people is more than 10% of the entire population of Scotland.
So a truly massive thank you to you all for the signing and sharing, please keep it going, and if you want to do more please email Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon asking her to protect the forest, she appears to have ignored all letters sent to her so far, including my own, and SNP MSPs are just sending out a stock reply which ignores most of the issues raised, but we have to let them know this isn't going to fade away!
And to celebrate International Cat Day, the team at Change.org have also put together a new video currently doing the rounds on social media, give it a share if you can: www.facebook.com/Change.orgUK/videos/1786090738175824
Thank you!
