Calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to ban all models of the Super Puma from use in conveying oil and gas workers to their work locations, in light of a further incident on 23/08/13 regarding a Super Puma AS332 L2. Further incidents have taken place previously with the newer model EC225 with two ditchings last year, and the original crash of AS332 L2 in 2009 with the loss of all hands. Our workforce have the right to expect to travel to work safely and all confidence in the Eurocopter Super Puma model has been lost. Take positive action now and save lives.
