To UEFA UEFA Route de Genève 46 Case postale CH-1260 Nyon Switzerland Dears sirs, I wish to make you aware of the fact that there has been a petition started requesting that the administrators of our football authorities, the SFA and the SPFL, stand down from their posts due to an ever increasing feeling that they are bringing Scottish football into disrepute. This is something that we do not do lightly and is the culmination of us experiencing multiple instances mismanagement. Currently, after just five days, the number of signatories stands at just over one thousand. This we recognise is not large enough to warrant action although, when you consider that the average match day attendance of the top league in Scotland is c10,000, we do believe that extrapolating our numbers over the next few weeks and months indicates that the level of dissatisfaction among the followers of the game is extremely high. With this being in its early stages we will not itemise what we feel are examples of the mismanagement, some of which are apparent breaches of the rules of entry to UEFA's own competitions, but, as an example of what has been happening perhaps this can be used in demonstration.- During the current transfer window one large Scottish club attempted to purchase a smaller club's star player. The amount offered was far below the market value and was rejected, Shortly afterwards the organisers of our leagues, the SPFL, posted on its website a photoshopped picture of the player wearing the chasing clubs team shirt. I shall let you draw your own conclusions from that. You can view this petition along with the comments of the signatories at - https://www.change.org/p/scottish-football-association-return-integrity-to-football-administration-in-scotland-673d2730-4863-4499-8b6d-b4c6e908318f In addition I append a copy of the petition text to this letter. I apologise for providing this as an unsigned letter but there is much recent history within our country of violence and intimidation being directed towards people who want to change the status quo within our game. Once the backing for the petition reaches a more substantial level I shall dispense with the anonymity. At a time when sport, and football in particular, is under the spotlight with regard to allegations of corruption I hope that you recognise that taking interest in our concerns would send out the message that we are about to witness change and the return of integrity within our sport. Yours, in hope A true Scottish football supporter.
