Meanwhile, the government faces growing opposition from within its own party ranks! Economist John Adams tweeted the news yesterday that the Victorian State Liberal Party Council has approved for debate at its November meeting a strong motion calling for the government to "reaffirm its commitment to individual freedom and free enterprise" by withdrawing the bill. The motion warns the law will expose individuals to "negative interest rates and bail-in".
