Christine Holgate finally had her say last week in powerful testimony to the Senate. She revealed her personal experience, as well as the government's service-cutting/privatisation agenda for Australia Post that she had opposed, which made her a target. Now the news media is all over the story, and the whole country knows about it, but the fight isn't over - we must demand this scandal becomes the catalyst to clean out Australia Post: remove the Chair and Board, who treated her so abysmally; appoint a restructured, non-partisan (no more Liberal or Labor hacks) board including a representative each from the staff and licensed post offices; and reinstate Christine Holgate so she can continue the great work she started.
