I know that you care about our environment as you supported a petition I started on COP26 (yes, it was a while ago)  

I am reaching out to ask for support on another petition that I have started, giving support to the call for carbon pricing.  https://chng.it/KdrfPyJC5x  Carbon pricing is the simplest, easiest way to reduce carbon as the market will encourage a move to cheaper sustainable solutions.  In fact, the best way is to have a carbon fee and dividend, where the money raised by making carbon producers pay for the cost of the pollution that they are generating is returned to individual households (like they currently do in Canada)

Two influential groups have just added their voices to the call for global carbon pricing.  Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest (an Australian mining billionaire) has published full page advertisements in newspapers around the world, urging the move to renewable energy.  One key point he makes is that the world needs to put a proper price on carbon in order to show the real cost of fossil fuels.

Additionally the Guardian has reported that the IMF is also calling for a price on carbon.
