Competition introduced but still no change in points assessment

The Government has added other registered English testing systems such as TOFEL so IELTS does not have an absolute monopoly but the thresholds still does not take into consideration average or have way (0.5) points which still leads the system open to misuse and abuse. IELTS is not an open or transparent testing system. Candidates can not obtain a copy of their test and therefore do not know why they have failed. Our advise is if you fall short by 0.5 points from your target score you should appeal. Writing and speaking are subjective.
