Friends, earlier this week hundreds of us tuned in to wish Kopika a happy 7th birthday. Wearing her beautiful new party dress, made by mum Priya, I know Kopi felt so special and so loved, thanks to all of your ongoing support.

Today, we’re so close to this petition hitting a record-breaking 600,000 signatures. Will you tap here to share the petition with your family and friends?

If you missed Kopi’s party, you can watch the highlights above. Kopi was all smiles when she blew out the candle on her birthday cake, as we sang her happy birthday and hundreds of you flooded the comments section with beautiful messages.

Candidates Dr Monique Ryan, Jane Caro, Kylea Tink and Sonya Semmens all popped in to Kopi’s party to wish our “little cockatoo” a happy birthday, and while they were there they all promised to do everything in their power to ensure this family can get safely back home to Bilo.

I can’t believe we’re just a few thousand signatures away from this petition reaching 600,000. This petition was the first step I took in the long journey to try and get our friends home.
