It’s ‘no more sleeps’ until Biloela girl Kopika’s 5th birthday - that’s today!

Kopika and her family are still trapped on Christmas Island. We want to show her that hundreds of new friends are with her on her special day.

The party starts at 7pm AEST, on the dot (6.30pm SA, 5pm WA, 4pm Christmas Island). You can join in by sharing a photo of your celebrations or birthday card in the comments of our live-streamed event.

Let’s all make this a birthday to remember, with streamers, balloons and party hats and lots of special birthday messages that we can share with Kopika!

Exactly one month from today, Kopika’s little sister Tharunicaa turns three.

Today, can you please write a shared birthday card for Kopika and her little sister, Tharunicaa, and tap here to share a photo of your card in our event? 

That way, we can include photos of your birthday cards on an iPad that a wonderful supporter donated as a special present for the girls, along with the live-stream of Kopika's birthday party.

Acting Immigration Minister Alan Tudge could easily bring our family home to Biloela in time for Tharunicaa's birthday, with the simple stroke of his pen.

So instead of posting your card to Christmas Island, please post it directly to Minister Tudge, who has the power to bring Priya, Nades and the girls home to Biloela:
