Our politicians want to force two QLD-born kids and their loving Mum and Dad to unstable, war-torn Sri Lanka.

We need to act quickly. Please, can you click through to bit.ly/emailtheMinister now to tell Immigration Minister David Coleman to bring this family safely home to Biloela, QLD?

My name is Simone. I first met Priya and Nades teaching English in Biloela. In time, I learned about the suffering these gentle people overcame in their search for a safe, peaceful life.

In March 2018, Mr Dutton’s Border Force turned that peaceful life upside down when they raided the family home at dawn. They took this family 1,800km away to a Melbourne detention centre. Emergency legal action saw them taken off a deportation flight with only minutes to spare.

For Tamils like Priya and Nades, Sri Lanka has never been safe. Now, the Easter Sunday attacks have shown the world the violence and instability behind the tourist brochures.

If you have already contacted your MP - thank you. Now, I need your help to flood Immigration Minister David Coleman’s inbox with e-mails.

Before Priya and Nades met in Australia, war and violence had stolen many years of their lives. Neither thought they would ever have a family of their own.

In Biloela, Priya found the peace and safety she longed for. Nades found work at the local meatworks. They settled down to their new life and soon, their beloved little Kopika was born.

Priya and Nades are Tamil Hindus who find comfort in Christian worship. When doctors told Priya that Kopika's sister could be born with serious complications, she went to the local Catholic Church. “I prayed to God, to Jesus, help my baby please,” Priya told me. Thankfully, a healthy baby Tharunicaa was soon born, also in Biloela.

Incredibly, the politicians still want to force this family from Australia to war-torn Sri Lanka. Priya and Nades are terrified for the safety of their beautiful QLD-born girls. We need to act now.

Please - click through to our action page now and tell Mr Coleman to bring this family home to Biloela. I guarantee you can take action for this beautiful family in less time than it took to read this update.

On behalf of Angela and the home to Bilo team - thank you for everything you do.

In hope,

Simone

PS Angela is taking a long-planned holiday away from e-mails and petitions and has asked me to keep you updated and say thank you to everyone who has donated to Priya’s emergency legal fund.
