Hayward Field is the most iconic, historical Track & Field venue in the United States. It is the Fenway Park, Augusta National and Churchill Downs of it's sport. The powers to be who want to host the 2021 World Championship, want to demolish the cherished venue to make room for a sterile, uninviting stadium in order to host one track meet. The history and tradition of the stadium will be gone forever! We agree there needs to be renovation, but lets keep the east grandstands to remember the past and inspire the future!
