Stop the FDA from banning the sale of flavored JUUL and other E-Cigarette cartridges

The Issue

The FDA gave JUUL and other E-Cigarette companies a 6 month window to prove that they could inhibit the sale of their products to minors all across the United States. The deadline is tomorrow, November 11th, and as far as the FDA is concerned they did not prove that they could do so. The sale of fruit flavored cartridges will be banned very soon, with JUUL representatives already proclaiming that they will be pulled from shelves soon. As soon as the FDA succeeds in banning menthol cigarettes we will lose mint and menthol flavors as well. I, as an adult smoker who quit smoking in favor of using a JUUL, find this absolutely insulting. As of now, vaping is a "safer" method of getting nicotine. Now, I'm not going to tell you it doesn't pose any health risks as it most likely does, but I can tell you that I feel much better now than when I was smoking cigarettes every day. I do not believe that these should be banned for the sole fact that minors are able to get their hands on them. Minors can get anything if they know the right people. However, sales of Smirnoff Ice and Mike's Hard haven't been banned. These are some of the most commonly ingested drinks of minors looking for alcohol. You would never see those being banned though, because people enjoy them. What will be done about flavored cigarillos such as Criss Cross? Right now you can buy flavors such as grape, and vanilla, and the FDA has made no mention of banning those at least from what I can see. Please help stop the ban of flavored e cigarettes. It seems like an irrational decision that probably won't even Impact the crisis of underage smoking.
