We, as active members in 4-H would love to have the honor to wear 4-H graduation regalia at our graduation on May 25, 2019. I, as well as any other senior has been denied this privilege for no other reason than, "No". If we do not get enough signatures on this petition I, as well as many other 4-H members will be denied the passage from 4-H to adult-hood again, and again. If we receive enough signatures, we would be able to change the rules and make sure that everyone in 4-H who is passionate enough to wear these cords, will have the chance to. In my eleven years as a 4-H member, I have learned to do what is right by all, even if the honest, true, and the right thing to do is very difficult. I want to represent the seniors graduating from the high schools in Emmett that have 4-H experience by saying that we deserve cords, tassels, and stoles too.
