School Shootings are far too common, especially in Colorado. Too many innocent children are attending school and walking in terrified for their lives. This has been a reoccurring issue since 1999, yet no substantial changes have been made. Our children's safety is at stake every day they walk in a school. As a community, we should be tired of seeing the results of these horrific events. Far too often we are having to say  "Prayers for ....." or "Thoughts for ....." IT IS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE. Some may presume that metal detectors will not fix the threat entirely, however it is a step in the right direction. 

Colorado, let's unite and make a change! Let's stop burying our children as a result of a school shooting and become PROACTIVE!
