The estimated cost of the DHS athletics facility project has increased from a previous estimate of up to $8 million to $20.5 million according to numbers shared by the construction manager at this week's JBC meeting.

"A public forum will be held by the JBC and the Dover School Board sometime early December, likely the week before the funding is decided on by the City Council Dec. 11. The community is encouraged to participate in the discussion of the decision of turf or grass, along with the overall proposed designs of the athletic complex." - Foster's Daily Democrat

It is the duty of the JBC to choose the option that lowers the long term cost of this project - natural grass.
