Hello Everyone, 

I mentioned before, I have teamed up with a local counseling association and the counseling association "was" invited to have a meeting with the Director of SCDHHS aka SC Medicaid. BUT there has been some difficulties around him setting a time, date, and public forum (e.g. in-person or virtually) for us to meet. I wanted to report this. I am hopeful "this too shall pass," and we, mental health professionals and supporters, get to to speak to someone with authority to make needed changes in the near future. 

The counseling association will host other public events in a joint effort to show we, mental health professionals and supporters, are still seeking and desiring a change. Additionally, we come in peace! Thank you again for your continued support!
