Thank you for your continued engagement with this initiative to make our communities safer. We have been contacted by the Mayor's office, City Councillor Mr. Michael Thompson's office and the Toronto Police Service - 43 Division's representative. They have appreciated the community's engagement in this issue and have updated us of the various steps being taken to ensure the safety of people visiting the Scarborough Town Centre and its vicinity. Toronto Police Service has confirmed recent arrests in connection with the incidents that took place over the weekend.

Your voices have helped. We have provided the respective agencies with the Petition signed by the concerned residents of Scarborough. We feel that the stakeholders have to stay engaged with the concerned residents to understand the seriousness of the safety issues. Engagement with the public will also help them to understand the expectations of the public while providing us with a platform to know more about the concrete steps being taken by the officials to address these issues.

We want to stay engaged. We will therefore continue to request a forum to engage with them. That is only possible if we have the strength of a unified and loud voice for Scarborough. Therefore we request you all to continue to spread the word and to stay engaged with this petition until we are in the right direction.

Once again, thank you and stay engaged.

Engage. Educate. Elevate.
Residents for a Safe Scarborough.
