Hello Everyone, 

As a group, we successfully ensured resident's voices were represented at the Municipal Council table. 

As our municipality continues to discuss growth and development opportunities, it is crucial to maintain active public engagement to ensure residents have an opportunity to participate in decisions regarding the future of our community. 

We acknowledge that meaningful economic growth and development that aligns with the values, priorities, and shared vision of the community can lead to positive outcomes for all. However, as a rural area, with a considerable population of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families struggling in poverty, there is a risk that without proper community oversight, the priorities of the community could be disregarded. 

As such it is imperative to establish a community group that will diligently monitor the municipality's adherence to the fundamental principles of responsibility and accountability to aptly represent the interests and inclusivity of all individuals.
