11/9/25 Update:

This building is set for DEMOLITION WITHIN TWO WEEKS! The seller is moving forward to permanently remove this building from our history. Demo could begin anytime, and is scheduled to be within the next two weeks. Please call/email the town managers to share your concerns. The demolition of this building is in direct contradiction of the town’s plan, as stated on the Manchester town’s website in “Town Plan 2025”. We need a vocal and united front to prevent the immediate erasure of this building, and undercut this entire process of design and review in our town planning.  Let’s find another buyer for a backup offer. DON’T LOOK AWAY!

Thank you all for the attending the meeting and showing your support online! There was resounding support from our community to oppose this project, with reasonable concerns voiced about historic preservation, community walkability, threats to small business, and traffic/public safety. However, the seller is independently moving forward for demolition within the next two weeks. The efforts to maintain pressure on our town managers to uphold the town plan is imperative right now.
