BREAKING DEVELOPMENTS - Save TED Sounds the Alarm on Galway Downs’ Draft EIR!
On August 10, Save TED submitted a detailed 54-page comment letter to Riverside County identifying serious concerns about the Galway Downs Draft Environmental Impact Report. The proposed zoning changes could allow expanded sports fields and tournaments, amplified events, increased noise, one-acre residential lots, larger gatherings, lodging, and RV-related uses. Yet the Draft EIR fails to clearly explain how these intensive uses are compatible with the Wine Country–Equestrian Zone—or how their impacts would be meaningfully controlled.
Save TED is urging Riverside County to revise and recirculate the Draft EIR with a complete, accurate, and enforceable analysis before any approval is considered.
