I was outraged to hear that $2.7 million of State Government money that had been granted to Dreamworld to build a koala research facility has in fact been used to construct a $5 million roller-coaster (with Government approval!)

It got me thinking then, why is it OK to spend $19 million of taxpayers' money on a pedestrian overpass that already has a lights controlled crossing beside it (grantedly needing safety upgrade) that will have limited/little use and will mean the destruction of 41 mature koala hbitat tree?

Imagine how many "koala research facilities" $19 million could build or how much koala habitat could be restored!
