Regulatory Committee early 2026

Dear all

Thank you so much for your continued support. We have had a lull in communication whilst awaiting information about the decision making committee which we have heard will be Spring 2026 - (probs March 18th)  Site visits will be made to the rural field, the public rural viewpoints, we are hoping visits to the vineyard and listed building and other beautiful rural viewpoints.  We trust that committee members will see the depth of the impact this factory would make in the middle of rural / semi-rural area (the only thing out of place is the current recycle facility, and whilst the business and jobs are welcome, the field in between the garage and the vineyard event venue is much needed for the thriving rural community endeavours surrounding the area).

Public can attend the regulatory committee to hear the deliberation and outcome.  Please come and support it at the Hampshire County Council in Winchester - you can email comminityagainstsilverlake@gmail.com if you need the address or any other information.  Some of us have decided to speak up about the future impact should this go through.  It would be good to have as many as possible attend to show the depth of community opposition.
