We the undersigned and the members of RWA of DLF Qutub Enclave protest against the construction of any petrol pump in Ward 34 Sector 26 A, just behind the houses in E-8, E-12 and E-6 in DLF Phase 1. This area is the green belt area which supposedly had trees and is very close to two schools, Shiv Nadar School,Anand school (school for toddlers and preschoolers) and more than 20 houses. On the pretext of constructing the petrol pump they fell the trees in February 2016, showing an order of 2014 which was valid for only 3 months. We are concerned on the danger and hazard that the petrol pump poses environmentally for the residents of E Block especially the children of our block and the children who study in the school.Also we are concerned of the felling of the green trees leading to further air pollution. We demand the withdrawal of such approval or permission which is being granted if any for the construction of the petrol pump and demand that we be allowed to re-build the green area which would grant the safe and unpolluted air for us and our children who are the future of this country.
