THANK YOU - Vote is delayed again. What to do now?

Dear fellow Hancock Village residents and neighbors,
You have been amazing! Thank you for signing, and for showing up. Thank you for joining so many meetings - we have had 3 already (2 Brookline Town Meetings and one meeting with CHR and the Brookline town liaison to CHR for this construction project). There has been incredible energy, time, and effort from so many of you. Thank you.
We have twice stopped them from getting a simple YES vote.
AND they have increased their offers of compensation to $500 dollars per overnight construction day for people CHR says are directly impacted, and $250 per day for people they say are less directly but also impacted. The problem is that less than 50% of the people we know are impacted are on CHR's list for compensation. We need to increase their list in case they get to do this overnight construction.
Also, you should know, that if they do get a yes, the hours that they may get have also been changed. The hours requested now are for 6am - 2am on some days, and 6am - 12midnight on other days. Your showing up and signing on has worked!
There is still no clarity though - which is why this seems so confusing. They still have to pass another inspection and get approval from another government body. The Select Board is undecided still. We have some time to tell more of our story.
We need to show them how affected many of us are by the construction.
The people who vote on the Brookline Select Board have not been to Hancock Village and have not seen our construction site situation.
If you live on the pit/ in the area that will receive compensation, please send me photos from your back window. We also need videos with construction sounds from inside with windows closed. Private message photos to Rachel Canar on Facebook or post in the petition thread in our Facebook group.
If you live near enough to hear the construction but are not included in the compensation map, please send me photos and videos as well. Private message Rachel Canar on Facebook.
Please limit your photos and videos to the Puddingstone project construction. I know that there is so much more problematic construction and disturbance, but this is only about that one project, so keep your photos and videos relevant.
We need as many different views as possible - people live in 360 degrees around the project. We should show photos from all sides.
Either we will get them to vote No, and prove that we have the same rights as all other Brookline residents, or all of those affected should be significantly compensated for this insanity. If you have other requests besides compensation, please suggest it in the petition thread in the Facebook group on in a private message to me. I will compile everything and submit it to the Select Board.
Please discuss this with your neighbors and have them join our Facebook group.
One day, this summer, we will have a wonderful picnic outside in one of the remaining yards and get to know each other in what has been such a wonderful community. I hope it will be again when all of this is over.
Thank you again. Don't forget to send photos. They will be compiled and sent to our representatives so that they can see and hear what it is like to live here now.
Yours truly,
Your neighbor who knows and cares
