The Kingdom of Denmark Supports a Moratorium on Deep-Sea Mining!

Good News Alert!

As the Council meeting of the International Seabed Authority kicked off in Jamaica yesterday, The Kingdom of Denmark announced their support for a moratorium on deep-sea mining.

Deep-sea mining will irreversibly destroy ancient ecosystems, disrupt the ocean systems that sustain us and will disturb locked away carbon. Not to mention the new era of colonialism it will unleash on half our planet!

25 countries now publicly state that they want a moratorium or ban on deep-sea mining. This is great but we can't stop here. Many more countries must speak out!
