Seems to have gotten quiet in CT. There’s not much news about Eversource online. Feels like the gates to the “CT Kingdom” have been closed. If you go to State Representative Conley's website, you will hear in the interview with Lisa Wexler how she wants to hear from us, but it seems she’s not getting our message.
On the other hand, a new bill was introduced by 6 State Representatives seeking protection from offensive online messages they are receiving. So, either they are not getting our messages or they don’t want to get our messages, or both. Go figure...So, we need to make news.
Also, there is a proposed class action lawsuit on twitter search #HB6410 about freedom of speech violations if they stop us from sending offensive emails so fight nice :) It doesn’t come up on Facebook for some reason when I search #HB6410.
So, list of things to do today:
- Call the State Rep of HB5013 and ask if our petition has reached her and if so, what more can we do to be heard and acknowledged by CT State decision-makers.
- Create a facebook group for those interested in a rally in Hartford.
To the new supporters, what we’ve been doing are 3 things:
- To help share this petition go to twitter and facebook – search #connecticut #petition to bring up this petition–like and share to the public
- Share with community organizations ie. churches, action agencies, libraries, school staff, YMCA etc…shoot them an email and ask them to share.
- Go to change.org — search eversource — sign and share them all. There are over 110,000 eversource signatures. There’s power in numbers!
