We’ve signed and shared our internet petition gaining over 150 supporters in less than 2 days and we have more signatures on the way. It’s apparent we feel strongly about the unfair out of proportion rate hike in Eversource and UI utility companies that PURA accepted for CT. We want this subject in every online news, blog, media platform in CT in hopes this will eventually be a topic of conversation so all our voices are heard and not just lawmakers rhetoric. Please read the petition, sign and consider writing an article related to the solutions we want implemented NOW such as calling for a State of Emergency like Hawaii did for their residents. Our petition is being forwarded to key state representatives and AG Tong as they are genuinely concerned with the regulators decisions and the broken system in place. The goal is to simply raise awareness about this issue and create change asap. As a side note, our nuclear power plant in Waterford supplies several states' electricity by a company called Dominion Energy at 2 cents per kilowatt hour. Why can’t CT supply CT that energy too?. Can you find out why?
