Hello!

Firstly, sorry for the radio silence on this. Things have gone a bit quiet but we are hopeful this is for positive reasons!

The mast hasn't gone up yet at St Saviours school and at present we are waiting for the Secretary of State for Education to provide the outcome of the public consultation regarding the disposal of the school playing field land, which closed for comment on 30 December.

It was so pleasing to hear that so many people commented on this consultation and we are hopeful that the Education Secretary will listen to the voices of concern.

In other news, we are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the very recent Judicial Review that was heard in the Administrative Court on 6 and 7 February, where Action Against 5G, via Michael Mansfield KC, accused the Government of failing to address the evidence of risks to human health posed by 5G technology. We have also had some positive results in Thanet where TDC have refused planning permission for some 5G mast installations. Appeals have been lodged, but we remain hopeful that common sense shall prevail.

And finally, I wanted to bring to your attention an ebook titled "Wireless Awareness: Understanding and Managing the Risks of Radiofrequency Radiation and Electromagnetic Fields in Our Lives" that I recently read. It is aimed at parents, carers, teachers and others who want to understand the risks/dangers of EMF and the steps we can take to protect ourselves.
