In the Damagundam forest, recent forest fires have affected the land allocated to the Navy. Over the past 15 days, approximately 30 to 40 acres of the forest have been scorched, adding to the existing challenges of protecting the forest from the installation of a radar Station. Safeguarding our forests is crucial, given their role as both a fire hazard to both living and non-living entities and a substantial source of environmental pollution.
