As we know, CW Black Lightning ended its final season. Now the network is claiming they will not re-cast the role of Black Lightning / Cress Williams, and this is not just.  Countless actors do a great job portraying a character. Still, the beauty of superhero characters is that they are more significant than the actor and should always be around to show representation. Limiting the character Black Lightning prevents other Black male actors who can play the role just as well as Cress Williams farther away from being a positive representation for Black People. This petition will continue to ask executives to re-cast the role or reboot Black Lightning.
