Quicksilver Community Group are holding a SAVE Yeovil HASU community stall, in Yeovil Town Centre (in The Borough), Sat 15 June from 10am to 4pm.
You are very welcome to pop by, if you are available. We appreciate you have plenty of other calls on your time, in the lead up to General Election Polling Day. Many of the candidates standing in the Yeovil constituency already see the future of the Emergency Stroke Unit (HASU) at Yeovil Hospital, as an ISSUE that MATTERS to people, and are seeking to highlight the HASU in their election flyers and social media posts.
Quicksilver Community Group will continue to lobby all parties and interested individuals, and NHS Somerset ICB, in our determination to REVERSE the HASU closure plan.

We have been assured by the Department for Health & Social Care that our "call-in" request to the Secretary of State is still very much in consideration. We have every reason to believe we can, and must, force the NHS Somerset ICB, to think again. To DROP their Yeovil HASU closure plan. And to INVEST instead in the Stroke Unit at YDH, and its staff team.
