Dear Friend of WPSU,
Last year, when WPSU’s future was uncertain, you were one of nearly 20,000 people who signed the petition to preserve this vital public media service for central and northern Pennsylvania.
You made your voice heard. You told us that WPSU matters to you, your family and your community. And your voice mattered.
We are delighted to share that, as of October 1, WPSU and WHYY are officially one public media family. Because people like you stood up for WPSU, we are beginning this new chapter with tremendous optimism about what we can build together.
Most importantly, WPSU remains your public media service, rooted in and serving the communities of Central and Northern Pennsylvania.
Now, we invite you to be part of its future.
The long-term strength of WPSU depends upon the people who listen, watch, learn and connect through its programs and services. If you are not already a member, please consider joining the WPSU family today. And if you are able, becoming a Sustaining Member provides the reliable, ongoing support that helps WPSU plan confidently for the future.
You can make your gift at wpsu.org/donate/pledge, and also during our upcoming radio pledge drive, which officially kicks-off on October 12!
And please share this good news with others who care about WPSU. Together, we can ensure that trusted public media continues to inform, educate, inspire and connect our communities for generations to come.
Thank you for speaking up when WPSU needed you. We are grateful to have you with us as we begin this exciting new chapter.
With gratitude,
The WPSU Team
