Many thanks to all of our supporters who have signed this epetition to save our community library
We presented our petition to Peterborough City Council, with an additional 660 paper signatures and over 200 signatures on the council’s own epetition site. At the same time children from St Augustine’s School joined the campaign by local residents to save their community library by designing their own petition, which was presented today (Tuesday 15 October 2024) to Peterborough City Council. 110 primary school students signed up..
Thanks to all of this support we are now able to present our case to full council in the future and b the level of support has meant we have a real chance to secure a stay of execution and the opportunity to increase footfall and save the library for future users.
